City staff presented the final study session for the FY 2026-27 City budget before formal adoption (June 23, 2026). Topics included Operating Budget Summary, Overview of Department Budgets including Fleet and Capital Improvement Program (Fiscal Year 2026-27 and FiveYear Plan).
Choosing A Path Community Meeting, May 2026
This meeting provides information about the City’s financial outlook, the services residents and businesses rely on, and options being studied to address long-term budget challenges, including a possible one-cent local sales tax measure that could go before voters in November 2026.
City Council Presentation, February 10, 2026 – Voter Survey Results and Public Education Direction
City staff and consultants presented the results of a survey of likely voters. City Council directed staff to move forward with public education about possibly placing a General Purpose Transaction and Use Tax (“Sales Tax”) on the November 2026 general election ballot.
