• Step 1: Download the iOS App.

• Step 2: Search - find a Japa parking site on the map.

• Step 3: Park - find an available parking space right on your mobile phone.

No problem! The City of Vacaville has 12 public parking lots in the downtown totaling 853 spaces, not including on-street parking. View the Downtown Parking Lot Map or a list of the City's public parking lots and locations:

• Lot 1 - Dobbins Street at McBride Senior Center
• Lot 2 - Dobbins Street (corner of Dobbins Street and E. Monte Vista)
• Lot 3 - Dobbins Street
• Lot 4 - Dobbins Street (Town Square)
• Lot 5 - Main Street (corner of Main Street and Parker Street)
• Lot 6 - Cernon Street (corner of Cernon Street and Mason Street)
• Lot 7 - Merchant Street (access from either Mason Street or Merchant Street)
• Lot 8 - Davis Street (corner of Davis Street and Catherine Street)
• Lot 9 - Catherine Street (corner of Catherine Street and Davis Street)
• Lot 11 – Elizabeth Street (corner of Elizabeth Street and Mason Street)
• Lot 12 – Kendal Street (corner of Kendal Street and Parker Street)
• Lot 13 – Davis Street (corner of Davis Street and Catherine Street)

Residents and merchants have shared concerns regarding patronage in the Downtown Core. Of these concerns, parking has repeatedly been mentioned, including a perception that parking is either inadequate or difficult to find.  
 
Approved by the City Council in 2022, the Downtown Specific Plan is an exciting and comprehensive plan for building the downtown into a thriving, bustling community hub that is a destination for residents and visitors.  Identifying available parking is one piece of an overall puzzle to offer both residents and visitors a more enjoyable experience when going out to eat, taking a stroll or doing a little (or a lot of) shopping. 

This past summer wayfinding signs were installed throughout the City including in downtown Vacaville.  The new wayfinding signage helps to clearly point the way to free public parking lots.
