High Risk Vendors

High Risk Vendors (e.g. food vendors) are required to carry insurance.

• Minimum requirements are $1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate.
• Additionally, there must be an endorsement naming the City of Vacaville as additionally insured.

•  Primary/non-contributory 

Primarily non-food vendor requirements are the same as above although insurance may not be necessary if considered ‘low risk’. A "low-risk" vendor will only need application and no insurance.

Low-risk vendors:

• Do not require any power onsite
• Do not sell anything that is consumed/ingested
• May just be handing out information.
• May offer handmade crafts (ex. pins, keychains, coasters, earrings, magnets, hairclips, ornaments, scarfs, drawstring bags and headbands).

• Apply for a temporary food permit application through Solano County.
• A fire permit no longer needed as it will be covered under City of Vacaville's Special Event permit. Fire inspections will be conducted the day-of the event. Review Fire safety checklist.
