Unity Meadows Park
The City of Vacaville has begun the Master Plan Process for Unity Meadows Park, a new 6.16 acre Neighborhood Park located in the Vanden Meadows Subdivision at the corner of Jackson Road and Baileyann Place.
Unity Meadows Park site has a ‘Neighborhood Park’ designation in the City of Vacaville Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which is intended to serve a half mile radius or a be a 10-minute walk from nearby residential areas. Neighborhood Parks are typically comprised of amenities such as play areas, open lawn, shade trees, picnic areas, walking paths and at least one active play court.
The City’s goal is to ensure that Unity Meadows Park will provide complementary amenities to nearby park facilities such as Cannon Station Park and Magnolia Park. These nearby existing parks have amenities such as tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball backstop, traditional play equipment and a splash pad. Take the time to envision what new amenities the City can add into this new park site and provide these ideas with by taking our community survey.
For questions or comments regarding this effort. Please feel encouraged to email the City’s Park Planners.
