On May 26, 2024, a public notice was published in The Vacaville Reporter noticing the start of the 30-day period to comment on the draft 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan.
The City is preparing its Program Year 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP), which authorizes CDBG program activities for the period of July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025. The AAP describes activities to be undertaken, summarizes geographic distribution of these activities, and describes actions that support housing and related community development activities in the community. This program year, proposed activities include, but are not limited to: Public Service funding for Vacaville Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club and Leaven Kids, Planning and Administration, and a capital improvement project. This draft AAP includes the use of the annual allocation of $532,369.
The Annual Action Plan was available for comment from May 26, 2024 to June 25, 2024.
On May 26, 2024, a public meeting was held by the City Council at 6:00 p.m. to consider the 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan and accepted any public comment prior to submission to HUD.
All persons interested were invited to participate and submit statements either orally or in writing, prior to or during said meeting. The City considered all comments in finalizing these documents.
