Project Description

The City of Vacaville has received Annexation, Major Design Review, Zoning Map Amendment, and Planned Sign Program applications for the proposed Pilot Travel Center project, to be located at 5666 Cherry Glen Road. The proposal consists of the development of an approximately 23-acre site to be operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including:

1. A 13,074 sq. ft. travel center building featuring a convenience store, food service, and amenities for professional drivers;
2. A 12,750 sq. ft. structure to serve as a five-bay truck maintenance facility offering limited services, including tire replacement, tire rotation, tire repair, and oil changes;
3. A 16-pump standard vehicle fueling station; 8-pump truck fueling station, and an electric vehicle charging canopy with 8 charging stations;
4. A 4,650 sq. ft. dog park with a four-foot tall chain-link fence and grass area.

Project Plans

The submitted plans depict the overall layout, architecture, landscaping, travel center building, truck maintenance building, fueling areas, signage, and related site improvements.
