Filing a Claim
If you believe you have a valid claim against the City of Vacaville, you can obtain a claim form or in person at the City Clerk’s Office located in City Hall at 650 Merchant Street, Vacaville, CA 95688.
All completed claim forms must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, either personally or by mail. Claims must be presented to the City within six months of the date of incident.
Existing Claims
The City of Vacaville utilizes George Hills to administer claims. For questions regarding the status of an existing claim, contact your assigned Claims Adjuster at George Hills. Your Claims Adjuster’s contact information is listed on the acknowledgement letter sent to you from George Hills.

Filing a Subpoena
Subpoenas naming the City of Vacaville may be be served in person or via mail at the City Clerk’s Office located in City Hall at 650 Merchant Street, Vacaville, CA 95688. Subpoenas must include payment by check or money order payable to "City of Vacaville."

Filing a Summons and Complaint
Summons and complaints naming the City of Vacaville or any of its departments can be delivered in person at the City Clerk’s Office located in City Hall at 650 Merchant Street, Vacaville, CA 95688.
