Nikki Bell is the Manager of the Real-Time Information Center (RTIC). She began her law enforcement career over 20 years ago in a small town in Alaska. During her time serving four different communities, Nikki has taken on various roles, including Communications Training Officer, Tactical Dispatcher, and Communications Center Supervisor.
Nikki has played a key role in developing several innovations within her policing agencies. These include the implementation of Project Lifesaver; a program that helps locate individuals who wander due to cognitive disorders; the establishment of an on-site nutrition program that allows team members to purchase healthy meals at work; and collaboration with allied agencies to create seamless mutual aid operations. Additionally, she was a foundational member of the Tactical Dispatch Team (TDT) at the Citrus Heights Police Department, where she significantly influenced how TDT operates alongside the SWAT team.
Not only was Nikki recognized as a voice of clarity by her classmates in SLI Class #508, but she also had the honor of being selected by her peers to represent them as one of the class speakers at their graduation.
Nikki's goals include improving processes, fostering inclusion, and leveraging technology to enhance case outcomes and the well-being of those involved in modern policing.
