VACAVILLE, Calif. – As the holiday season approaches, the City of Vacaville Fire Department is once again calling on the community to support Vacaville residents in need through the Vacaville Christmas Fund.

Created more than 30 years ago, the Vacaville Christmas Fund provides grocery gift cards to local families and seniors who might otherwise go without a holiday meal. Over the last five years, the program has helped 98 Vacaville households—and the need continues to grow. Beyond the holidays, the fund also provides emergency relief to families throughout the year.

This year, the Fire Department aims to assist even more residents, but success depends entirely on community support. Every dollar contributed goes directly toward purchasing grocery gift cards for Vacaville residents in need. The Vacaville Christmas Fund is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), and all donors will receive a letter for their tax records.

Checks should be made out to: Vacaville Christmas Fund.

Donations can be mailed to:

Vacaville Fire Department
Vacaville Christmas Fund
650 Merchant Street
Vacaville, CA 95688

Donations can be dropped off at:

Fire Department Administrative Office (located at City Hall) between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The City of Vacaville City Hall is closed every other Friday and on specific holidays.  Please access the City calendar for more information.
