VACAVILLE, Calif. – The City of Vacaville invites the community to take part in the holiday magic at the 2025 Merriment on Main Tree Lighting held in Downtown Vacaville on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Anyone interested in showcasing their talents or offerings at this year’s celebration are invited to submit an application: vendors, and performers and crowd entertainers. The online application is user-friendly and allows users to save their progress and complete it at their convenience, while ensuring they meet all City requirements for participation.
New in 2025 – Sales Welcome at the New Merry Market: For years, this event prohibited selling and soliciting for business or memberships – not anymore! Businesses wishing to sell food or merchandise are now welcome to submit a vendor application and pay a fee to be part of the New Merry Market that will be hosted at the CreekWalk Plaza.
The City will continue to offer the opportunity to provide free food and giveaways in the downtown corridor, as has been the tradition of Merriment on Main. Please complete the same vendor application.
Attention Downtown Business Operators: Please let us know if you will be open during this event so that event booths do not block your entrance, and we will add you to the vendor map.
Important Deadlines: Application submissions will be accepted for vendors through Monday, October 27, 2025, and for performers and crowd entertainers through Monday, November 10, 2025.
Applicants are encouraged to review the options and requirements for vendors, performers, and entertainers to find the best fit for participation. Once an application has been submitted, an email confirmation with a copy of the application and important links will be delivered to the email provided. Additional tasks based on the selected role will be communicated via email.
