VACAVILLE, Calif. – Kaiser Permanente Vacaville, in partnership with the City of Vacaville, will host a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) training exercise on Tuesday, September 30, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Father’s House Church in Vacaville.
The exercise will test and strengthen disaster preparedness and response capabilities for hospitals, first responders, and community partners in the region.
Participating organizations include:

- City of Vacaville Fire Department
- NorthBay VacaValley Hospital
- Travis Air Force Base
- Vallejo Fire Department
- Solano County EMS
- Medic Ambulance
- Vacaville Unified School District
- PACE Transit
- The Father’s House
- Amazon
The training will involve approximately 50 volunteer “patients” and numerous volunteers supporting logistics such as moulage, setup, and event coordination. Members of the public may notice emergency vehicles and activity in the area of The Father’s House during the exercise. This is a planned training event, and there is no cause for alarm.
Preparedness is a community responsibility. Exercises like this bring together hospitals, schools, public safety agencies, and local organizations to protect the health and safety of residents. Visit CityofVacaville.gov/Prepare for important information on emergency preparedness.
