Neighborhood Meeting: Sapphire Luxury Apartments

A2R Architects has submitted a Major Design Review request to construct an 82-unit apartment complex on a 3.83-acre infill site at 561 Peabody Road. The project includes four three-story buildings, 180 parking spaces (one dedicated space per unit), and amenities such as picnic areas, a dog walking area, exercise room, community room, and a fenced patio and pool area adjoining a communal kitchen.

Building placement and design were intended to increase privacy for adjacent neighborhoods, and new walkways are proposed to connect the streets, nearby businesses, and the apartment buildings. A CEQA environmental assessment will be conducted.
